2K Games sends along a holiday scenario for Sid Meier's Railroads! The 15mb download offers "a new holiday train with 2 skins and custom sounds; holiday-themed goodies like cookies, eggnog and toys; cheerful music to get players in the holiday spirit; a wide-open, rugged North Pole environment; and a challenging scenario that pits you against up to three other robber barons who are out to destroy Christmas".

That sounds cool. I should dig out my copy and try it again. See if I can appricate the game for what it is now.

Players will help Santa and his elves make and transport toys to Santa's Station by the December 25th deadline.

So it's a Christmas scenario then. Or does some other "holiday" this time of year have Santa and occur on December 25 that I'm not aware of.
