Hitman Movie Update

Ain't It Cool News has some new information on the Hitman movie, as the big screen adapation of the IO Interactive hit series has been greenlit. Though initially Vin Diesel was attached to play Agent 47, the role will now go to Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood, The Girl Next Door, Go). Additionally, Luc Besson has hopped on board as a producer. According to AICN, the movie might be in theaters as soon as next fall.

Olyphant is great on Deadwood - and he was good in 'Go' also (despite the small part). I'm glad to see he's getting some big-time opportunities.

Timothy Olyphant looks to young and isn't cold enough to play 47.

Unless they're going for a complete personality rewrite or something, I don't think the character will fit him.
