A new Battlefield 2 patch is now out updating the game to version 1.41, fixing a rare server crash bug. An updated Windows server build is available as well.

And the fix can't be done in one little recoding or patching of the existing huge file ? I wonder when the first 5 Gigapyte "patches" start appearing. Huge patch for a rare issue in a game filled with bugs.
