I clicked the screenshots without reading the text above them, thought they were pretty cool and wondered what this game is, then read it's a MMORPG. :( Oh well, fun for other people but I'm not going near one of those things. Shame (for me, but not everyone, of course) it wasn't a single player one.

I played this game for about 20 minutes at E3. It was pretty good 6 months ago, so I look forward to see what they've done with it since.

The engine wasn't choppy on the machine I played, but I have no idea what kind of machine it was. The game's interface and art style reminded me of Guild Wars.

Crytek engine in an MMO? Wow. Never thought I'd see the day. Too bad for the people with lame PC's. Maybe it'll come out on the next gen consoles.

I wonder what the sales pitch to a publisher is like for a MMO these days.

Developer: Well, it's a fantasy MMO like WoW.
Publisher: I play WoW.
Developer: Everyone does. Anyway, we're using a really advanced engine, cutting edge stuff...
Publisher: Will it run on a wide variety of computers like WoW? My computer at home isn't very good.
Developer: Oh, my no, you'll definitely need to upgrade to play this.
Publisher: Uh huh.
Developer: Anyway, it'll have really generic art, like Lineage, but better looking...
Publisher: Look, bottom line, will anyone quit playing WoW to play this game?
Developer: Ha ha ha ha ha ha... Oh, you were serious?

This looks really nice, and I can see how they're differentiating from WoW with the complex engine and rich art direction. Let's face it, anyone who tries to make just another WoW is going to get burned to a crisp - they really have to make something different and try and get people to switch.

A CryEngine-based MMO? This will be...interesting.

The screenshots look nice, though. Very nice technically, and I like their stylistic take on (not quite) "traditional fantasy".
