Little computer science question.

I remember hearing in class that you should always keep constants on the left side of conditions...

e.g. while(NULL != something) instead of while(something != NULL)

I can't remember the reasoning behind that, anyone know (we're working in C, if that matters)?

OH GOD HELP

Does anyone know how to actually get rid of the attrocious smell of skunk piss?! Stumbling home last night, some fucking skunk sprayed me from a bush. I got some in my fucking eye, my clothes, my face, my coat and now the smell is all over the house. Tomato bath seems to be more of a mess maker than anything else and a regular shower got the odor off of me for the most part, but now i have the rest of the house and the smell burned into my nose to take care of.

Is there anything I can whip up or something to help here?!

I just got back from Aronofsky's The Fountain.

Wow. What a beautiful and poetic, epic.

I heard a lot of negative comments leaving the theater, this is definitely not going to have wide appeal.

I can't believe how much Aronofsky grows as a filmmaker every single time he makes one. This film shows more grandeur, subtlety and shear scale than I would have thought possible for the difficult third album. Even if you don't like it, you can at least agree that he really challenged himself in making this one.

Matthew Libatique is a fucking god. Holy jesus, he really hit this one out of the park. Absolutely stunning visuals. A wonderfully impressionistic, artful visual interpretation of the story. I couldn't believe the mood and emotion he's able to create, and with such a quiet camera! The stillness of the camera really surprised me, having seen most of his other work, but man, he really packs a punch in those frames. The starlight motif was amazing, and he found ingenious ways to include it all over the place. The Spanish Queen's chambers looked fucking unbelievable. This is his best looking movie, and that is saying a lot.

Wow. Unforgettable. I can still feel it.

I'm heading back out in a bit to go watch The Queen... I hear it's good too.

Wireless Router People:

If you had to get a cheapish wireless router in a store (I don't feel like waiting a week for one to ship) what would you get? This would be used to connect a PC to do general surfing (wired), a PC to download stuff and play games (wired) and a laptop to do surf and do work, occasional downloading (wireless).

I understand the Linksys WRT54GL is awesome and all that, but it may be overkill in my situation if I can spend half the price. I just want something that won't crap out when I download a lot or play games (via the wired port).

Yes, it is an excellent game. Very Zeldaesque, with amazing art direction (boo Clover Studio's dissolution!)

What's up with the plot, though? I defeated Orochi, the ancient, all-powerful, all-knowing, onmipresent evil that was the main driving force behind the all of the game's events... half way through the game. Does that bother anyone else? I quit and saved after I beat him, and even though I know there is still alot of game left, I'm finding it hard to continue forward. It feels like there is no purpose to my adventure anymore.

Does anyone else think this is a strange plot structure?
