A few minutes into the video. We are seeing the same lame ass way to open doors, switches, and pick up items. (Last Gen IMO) Is it so much to have a arm and hand grab the door, switch and pick up the item? It would make the game world that more real. Im personally sick of seeing the lack of that in all games.

Aside from that the game looks amazing. This is coming from a system shock fan. Im looking forward to it.

Things I liked:
Atmposphere looks amazing - ultra creepy, excellent graphics, water effects rule
SS2 type of gameplay - basically the same thing, which is awesome

Things I didn't like:
Please, please make a good interface for the PC. I got nightmare about oblivion watching that. I realize that was the xbox360 version, but unless I see a separate PC interface I'm going to assume they're teh same.

Framerate - looks like it chugged quite a bit. I'm sure they'll address this when it comes down to release time

Action - the splicer things followed a simple pattern when fighting. I'm again assuming that this will be much more elaborate when it's released.

So long as they fix the things that I am worried about I am confident that this is going to be an awesome game.

As far as graphics go, everything looks really good except they went way too overboard with the HDR haze'ish effect. The entire screenshot looks smeared with vaseline.

the AI seemed too mechanical with it's behavior and goals, thats all I found displeasing. There seemed to be no curiosity or initial awareness of the player even existing, you'd think the girl and the protector would be a bit more concerned with those slasher things running around everywhere.

I fell asleep watching this but it was bed time, I think the narrators voice was kind of odd or something - graphics are quite nice though (this was X360 version was it?)

Must finish watching it tonght.
The little girl and what she did is gross :( seems like a strange concept for a game.

I loved it! A lot of people I talked to said there was nothing revolutionary about it and I agree based of that demo, they could very well not be showing everything, but I also have to say I wasn't really expecting revolutionary gameplay. System Shock was so much about atmosphere, story, and options in my opnion and I think they are pulling that off wonderfully here. The style is incredible and the few characters they showed seem really interesting. If they can keep that level of detail throughout the whole game I'm sure I'll love it. Is there any word on it including coop?

I watched the IGN stream this morning, it's a great video, really has the System Shock feel. I love the guy that's doing the commentary great enthusiasm and quirkiness. It's well worth the download and doesn't have spoilers really unless you want to play the game completely unseen.
