IGN has the latest Defcon Q&A, asking Introversion's Chris Delay about this nuclear war simulator which they bestow with an 8.8 in this review. The game is currently available for preorder through Steam for only $9.95, and you can get a boxed copy by ordering through the Introversion store.

I wonder if you can set the game so it simulates nuclear war in REAL TIME when it starts? IE, ICBM's take 30+ minutes, bombers take even longer... It would be great for tension, but probably not that wonderful in terms of gameplay.

Preordered, can't ignore great value like that. One thing I love about Steam its great for international buyers.

Games are overpriced in the UK compared to US. When you factor in the exchange rate (I love the worthless dollar) and being able to buy at US prices its a steal.

I think for 10 dollars, its a sure-hit. Darwinia was incredible, and i'm sure if the same effort was put in DEFCON, it'S gonna own.
