Just a sidethought. I went to Walmart this morning to pick up some stuff and happened to walk through the toy aisle. Star Wars is about the only Lego has going for it now. I remember when they used to have all sorts of collections and series back when I was kid. Oh well, times have changed.

Han Solo's idle stance in this is pretty hilarious, as are a lot of the rest of his actions. I really enjoyed the whole demo, even more than the first game.

It's ironic that %99 of the games out there with normal maps, etc. are faulted for looking too much like plastic and when a game comes out based on plastic toys - they don't appear to be made of plastic.

I played the first Lego Star Wars a little bit and found it really easy, to the extent that I got no enjoyment out of playing it despite the neat graphics. (Easy until the first race level which I found ridiculously hard!)

Is this game worth checking out, with that in mind? I get that the first one was probably aimed more at kids than hardcore gamers and that's cool, but if this one is more my bag then I'll check it out.

Can anyone tell me how to get the demo to work with a mouse and keyboard? I can't figure out how to adjust the default controller settings. The game defaults to joystick. Keyboard controls are shown in the second column, in yellow, but how do you get them to work?

I just F2 and now i can't control Kenobi, nor can the camera get beyond his range. Any idea what's going on? God the undocumented controls and gameplay are driving me mad!

I loved the first one but it was fairly easy. I wish they had some higher difficulty settings or didn't give unlimited lives.

I've heard the second one gets harder if you do too good but we'll see how that works out.

Umm what's going on in this demo? I'm running around in tatooine with 4 guys and while I can change between them and shoot stormtroopers, even repair these little things from piles of Legos I have NO clue what's going on other than that? The hints in game don't help either.

Another question, I finally figured out how to build things and use the force and so forth, and I got to the bar, at which point the 4 chars that I'd been using ran off, and I got control of Han and Chewie, now I ran along with them until I came to an area with some kind of mounted stormtroopers, and I can't seem to get past this. I see areas that my droids could access, I see an area that greedo could access, and everywhere I see places that I could probably use the force, why can't I go back to my original 4 characters?

That sounds like the installer didn't properly overwrite your temp directory, which still had the RoL Installer sitting in it. Clear it.
