An all new QuakeCon gaming event sponsored by NVIDIA - celebrating QUAKE's 10th birthday with a QUAKE 4 event created for the fans. If you're attending QuakeCon, start practicing. More details to come later this week.
I don't know a lot about quakecon, but way to drop the ball on that one.
Celebrate 10 years of quake by adding another "modified" (I guess) quake4 event? Please. They should celebrate the past 10 years by celebrating the past 10 years.
Run a single tournament event covering all 4 Quake's. Hold them all with a simple deathmatch style but with a tier and points system. The person to do the best in all 4 Quake matches wins, gets the prize, and the girl.

I'm not going this year, since the announcement was made too soon, and my friends and I are kinda burnt out on FPS games at the moment. But when I started playing Prey though, I thought "Man, this would be fun as hell to play at the BYOC."
Also, plenty of free shit, and getting free animal crackers from the Shack is a plus. Go if you wanna have a good time. :)
