I told him I looked for those little froggy monsters that grow bigger if you ignore them and I didn't think they were in Epsiode 1 like was originally promised, and he said they decided to remove them because the playtesters didn't find them fun. I was kind of disspointed by that.
I said I liked the flying jetpack guys and that was pretty much the only best thing I liked about Episode 1 and suggested they should add a jetpack for the players so you can fly around ala duke nukem.
I also commented about the death animations and how they don't all "ragdoll out" until the death animation is finished, so if you shoot a guy during thier death animation nothing happens (they won't go flying or whatever).
He also said that arena mode is coming soon and should be very cool.

I have a 6 yr old daughter and there is no way in hell she would be on that thing by herself. I guess there is a vid clip why she had him on there by himself, but I can't watch the video here at work. But there is no excuse IMO why she let that kid on there by himself. That's just stupid.

MS's pricing scheme on 'next gen' games. The 'waa, it's so expensive to develop next gen content' tax.
While I'm aware that each gen does indeed cost more to make content for, it's hard to see how they justify it when they do it to games like Tomb Raider. I rented it with a buddy for my Xbox 2. Didn't beat it but got my $5 out of it. Well, he liked it and went and bought it for his Xbox 1. Then he brought it over and we looked at it and there's no difference visually. Okay, maybe the water is a bit better looking on the 360, but that's literally it. But the price is $10 less. How does MS expect people like me who have both to pay for a more expensive yet identical version of a game? The wierd thing is that the PC version is $20 less than the 360, and it includes the supposed 'next gen content' of the 360.
For platform exclusives, like Gears of War, I can see charging more for it, cause quite frankly you've got a captive audience. But when the same game comes out on 4 different platforms, but are all different pricing for the same thing... I don't see how they can charge the next gen tax.

But to get to my point. My only concern about the Wii was that the controller wouldnt be close to capable of what i'm dreaming it could be. I've found it hard to find any concrete evidence from various journalists reports from E3, other than some things worked really well something didnt. I'll use red steal, or any potential sword fighting game for an example ;
If the game is designed to recognise a series of manuvers from the wii controller and when the player performs one of these actions, it then performs a pre scripted attack on screen... i'll be disapointed. I'd see this as something that would grow pretty tiresome quite soon.
IF on the other hand it was a system that tracked the movements of the player and reacted accordingly without the pre scripted attacks (where your essentially just replacing a combination of buttons, with a certain form of phsycial movement...) would be exceedingly exciting.
I did read the redsteal appeared to be closer to the former of the two. All i kind of hope for is that this is a new system like the DS that developers will have to get acquainted with and really explore the possibilities. I hope we're not already seeing the limits of the system now.

I have the first two under my belt and I am looking at Superman III and I have to wonder if I should even bother. I mean, at first I see Richard Pryor and I say to myself "But of fucking course!" But then I see that there is no Gene Hackman. Then I see the same hack who took over for Superman II directed it. Then I read the trivia page on IMDB and it gets even worse. I probably haven't seen this movie since I was a kid and I am wondering if I should just skip it.
