Still trying to install onto my d drive, it's a Maxtor hd. But get HPT374 UDMA/ATA 133 RAID that the driver can't be found, it never asks for location of driver or anything. Just asks me if i want to continue with the install, if i do once it restarts it'll just say there was a error, without that it doesn't see the d drive so it doesn't have any place to install to, anyone have any idea how to get this to work so i can install it?

I am certainly not a trained in the economic implications to the extent that, well, the above economists are. But I can tell you that we need a full palette of technological options and market incentives on the table. The Markey neutrality amendment that was defeated would actually make many of those options illegal -- not least, charging for prioritized traffic.
I am what you'd call an economic layman, but I spend a lot of time observing the dynamics of free markets. I can tell you that the public-utility (aka common-carrier) model that is being proposed by the pro-neutrality camp will retard investment and innovation. It removes a lot of incentives, and makes product differentiation nearly impossible.
Some bits are more time-sensitive than others -- think video vs email. A good user experience demands it.

I've been writing code to read Microsoft Excel files... but one thing I'd like to be able to do is to tell how many sheets are in a spreadsheet... is there a way to do this?

My question is, do you guys think it would be a good idea to call today and find out if they keep resumes on file, for like if a QA position becomes available? Would that show persistance or just annoy the HR lady? I just really would like to get on at Pandemic, and want to do everything I can to do so. Hell, my one friend who used to work there suggested just going into the office today after I drop my friend off at LAX, but I think that might be a little much...

So is it normal for AIRPORT to randomly work / not work? Sometimes my airport just refuses to join to my office wireless network while other days it does so easily.
Is this a common problem with airport or what?

I added a page about the map/mod on the HL2 Third Party mods on Valve's wiki. As an aside, I can't believe how much exposure this thing has received.

I've already got NSMB as it was on sale somewhere else.
I'll probably also picked up Advance Wars DS and maybe Mario Kart. Any other suggestions?

I'll probably get FP'd but anyway
I called ebgames (in Canada) to know how much store credit they gave for the old Nintendo DS... CAN$40!! That's insane since they'll probably resell it for about CAN$100 if not more. So if anybody is interested in an almost new red Nintendo DS (sorry I keep MarioKart :) ), shackmessage me. I say almost new because I'm really carefull with my stuff. I bought it last December. It will come with a carry pouch (official from Nintendo; Can hold 8 games, plus the charger and other accessories like small headphones), a 3rd party charger, and all the other stuff that came in the box. I didn't apply any of the decals on the DS, and I'll make sure it's all cleaned up before shipping.
I'd be more interested in shipping within Canada than anywhere else.
I'm at work right now, but if you want pics of the stuff plus more info, ask but answers will come later tonight!
someone hook me up :(
