Here's a selection of screenshots distributed at Konami's press conference today. Many of these titles were officially unveiled during the presentation. - Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (NDS) - Elebits (Wii) (concept art) - Hellboy (PS3, X360, also PSP) - Lunar Knights (NDS) - Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3) - Metal Gear Solid Digital Graphic Novel (PSP) - Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops (PSP) - Silent Hill Origins (PSP) (concept art) Also, though Nintendo hardly even brought up GameCube at all during its press conference today, it did quietly announce three new first party games for the system via its press website. Here they are: - Super Paper Mario, a Mario sidescroller with the graphical style of the Paper Mario games. - Baten Kaitos: Origins, a prequel to the Monolith Soft RPG Baten Kaitos. - DK Bongo Blast, an airborne racing title controlled with either the bongo controllers or a standard GameCube controllers.

So looks like Ocelot, Raiden, Meryl (and Rose?) are gonna be making a comeback. Buy why Snake saluting in the same manner that Big Boss did at the end of MGS3?

Just seems that if you wanted to draw parallels like that you would have waited until closer to release date.

Those MGS4 screenshots are pretty incredible... the characters and the lighting are scaringly realistic. With graphics like these, who needs gameplay?

Look at Ocelot's teeth for chrissakes!! Anyone that says 360 is gonna be able to produce same level graphics in the end is wrong.. MS made a mistake not making HD-DVD games, now Blu-Ray games will hold all these high-res textures and sounds. I'm sorry. In the long run, my PS3 will hold up longer, just like the PS1 and PS2 before it.
