Battlefield 2 v1.22 Patch Released

Over at FileShack you can now grab the latest Battlefield 2 patch, updating version 1.21 to version 1.22. Changes are as follows (thanks WolfGaming.net).

- Improved Server Stability - Fixed rank up messages in Special forces - Adjusted handling of the Tiger attack chopper - Added delay for aiming reticule when going prone to all support weapons - Adjusted deviation on MG36 and PKM to be in line with other support weapons - Increased rpm from 600 to 900 on the P90 - Fixed Lock on error on certain Oil towers - Fixed a Great Wall Exploit - Fixed exploits on Dragon Valley and Karkand

Have they fixed the AT rockets going through vechs? I can't stand playing any more as like 40% of rockets seem to pass through vechicles now.

I hope this patch makes the "challenge everything" movie into a 2 hour classic. I can't get enough of it. Many times I just restart the game after hearing it so I can hear it again and again.

SOOO good.
Pubbing will get fun again since everyone will not be pkm whoring. Also the instant prone drop was lame.

i've had it a couple times, even on the new patch (1.21)

it's an interesting bug on the behavior it creates. At first you think it's an enemy, but when you look closely he's wearing your side's clothes so what the hell is going on? Maybe he's inflitrated. Dammit, stop! then you kill him. Oh shit, don't punish me, it was YOUR FAULT!!!

If i install this, is it going to screw up my install of BF2:Special Forces.

I remember when I installed BF2:SF, I had to reinstall the BF2 patch again to update the SF files. Will this automatically patch the SF stuff?

It's claymores (and similarly mines) that have me annoyed. Claymores really need to be FF on. At the very least friendly claymores should explode with no damage when run over.

I've faced snipers who run around and throw claymores in your face as an offensive weapon. Stupid claymores wouldn't be lying around everywhere if you had to worry about how they affect your team.
