Various fan sites including Empire-At-War.com have info on an upcoming 1.03 patch for Star Wars: Empire at War that Petroglyph is working on. The patch will offer various community requested improvements, along with a new land tactical multiplayer map and a 43 planet multiplayer campaign map.

    Awesome! Connectivity was hurting bad online. Good to see both Lucas (Empire at War) and EA (BFME 2) working to resolve the issues. It's too bad there weren't other online solutions for companies to use like Battle.net. GameSpy just seems to mess up every RTS game online with more than two players involved.

    Looking forward to the 43 planet multiplayer campaign.
