Splinter Cell: Double Agent Q&A

This Israeli game site has a new Splinter Cell: Double Agent Q&A, talking to Ubisoft associate producer Daniel Roy about the new Sam Fisher game. Questions are about things like the storyline and new features, as well as multi-platform development. Thanks Blues News.

I'm going to be blunt. Pandora tommrow was the weakest link of the splinter cell series single player wise. It was a cold dead shadow of the first game and added nothing new to the campaign other than cliche levels and a watered down story. The shanghai team responsible for it does not deserve another chance to prove their metal and i'm extremly dissapointed the montreal team is not overseeing their baby, they after all created the wonderfull splinter cell series as well as the third iteration chaos theory.

I am a huge splinter cell fan, but I am not excited about this game in the slightest.

I don't really see how any of that counters the fact that Ubi Shanghai seemingly blows at making SC titles.

Precisely my point. The goals of this game sound pretty cool if well executed, the problem is the team developing it hasn't shown the gusto needed to pull it of .

Ok, ok. So Pandora Tomorrow wasn't exactly top notch. But would you rather give it to ANOTHER developer who hasn't touched the SC Engine to try and do another poor SC game?

And is really Shanghai developing SC:DA? I was sure that it was Montreal or something. The original team who did SC and SC:CT.
From what I've seen it doesn't look like it's gonna be a SC:PT.

Well, let's wait for the game to come out before we bash it, shall we? =P

Ya, checked it, Shanghai is doing PC Version while Montreal is doing Xbox360 version. Ohh well, let's hope for the best.
