Will Wright Talks it Up at GDC

7

CMP Media just sent out word that pioneering game designer Will Wright will be delivering a keynote address at this year's Game Developers Conference in March. The Maxis founder will be speaking about design and development for next generation games. The other two announced keynotes will come from Nintendo president Satoru Iwata and current Battlestar Galactica creator Ron Moore. While there is no mention of Wright's hugely ambitious universe sandbox Spore, Wright did announce the game in an innocuously-named lecture called The Future of Content at last year's GDC, so you never know. YES.

Will Wright's sessions have always been super crowded. Good to see they're finally letting him into the huge auditorium where he belongs.

Yep, agree. Awesome keynote lineup this year! I've never seen any of Moore's work but his topic is pretty interesting.

He's responsible for the only good filmed star trek stuff made in the last 10 years.
