ATI Catalyst 5.7 Released

ATI's custom care page has been updated, now offering version 5.7 of the Catalyst drivers for Radeon videocards. Release notes can be found here; there are fixes for Flight Sim 2004, Trackmania Sunrise and Warcraft III and cards with 64MB and 128MB framebuffer configurations should see a performance increase in 3DMark05, Far Cry, Half-Life 2 and UT2004.

sunuva. i just installed a fresh GPU and the 5.6s yesterday. grrr. if i didn't actually own TM:Sunrise and also have a 128MB card, I'd skip it. :(

they STILL havn't fixed the BF2 texture corruption bug....

looks like ATI re-hired thier old pre-radeon driver coders.

FUCK. Battlefield 2: Geometry corruption or missing textures maybe noticed when playing the game for an extended period of time under Windows XP with an ATI RadeonÃ‚Â® X800 XT installed. Further details can be found in topic number 737-19709

I get this corruption all the time. I thought it was heat related :(

I'd rather not install this. 5.6 has been rock solid so far, best since 4.12, so why take the risk?
