The first Pariah patch has been released, updating the Digital Extremes sci-fi shooter to v1.01. The update fixes a problem where the game wouldn't run on Windows 98 / ME machines. Thanks Gamers Hell.

I bought it and it's really awesome!! Don't listen to the reviews. Play the demo and if you like it then buy it.

I like this game, but it has a very annoying bug which causes slowdowns whenever pixel shaders or particles are in sight. Framerate is good, but walking, turning, shooting is about half speed whenever such an effect is shown. This is on a nvidia 6800go 256mb with the latest drivers (dell i9300 laptop)
