Over at Tech Report you can find an article on the 512mb version of the Radeon X800 XL, which will be released by ATI hardware partners like Gigabyte, Abit, etc. Tech Report benchmarks the card against the 256mb version to see if the $450 price is worth it.

Nobody shows if it helps stuttering as textures are loaded in Doom 3 max quality. Benchmarks programs suck thesedays.
