Illusion Softworks Licenses Meqon

Worthplaying has word that Mafia developer Illusion Softworks has signed a licensing agreement with Meqon Research, developers of the Meqon physics and game dynamics SDK. Meqon is also used by Duke Nukem Forever developer 3D Realms among other companies.

              no kidding.. Mafia was announced back in like 99/00, sometime after Hidden & Dangerous 2 was announced...both games took forever to come out. When Mafia came out, there was very little advance notice. If people hadn't warezed it and started talking about it a week before it came out, I may have never known about it finally being released.

              Hell, I was the only one at Best Buy on launch day waiting for a copy :(

              Hopefully whatever their next game is gets some better advertising / marketing so that people will actually know when it's out.
