In the 4/1/05 vid-diary over at Kong is King, Jackson and company spill loads of details on the gargantuan sequel. Universal has agreed to sink massive sums of money into Son of Kong, which will follow the exploits of the gorilla offspring some ten years later. Set in the midst of WWII, the primary non-primate cast of Jackson’s King Kong update will return to help Kong’s kid tackle the Axis and Hitler’s Nazi mutants (Jackson wants to outfit his silver super-simian with shoulder-mounted Browning machineguns!).
