Not sure what to think about that PhysX PPU. The idea sounds good, and realistic fluid simulation (water breaking through glass, etc) is something I hope to see in games soon, but I don't see myself buying a card just for that. If they find a way to get it added to videocards though, or on motherboards, that'd be neat. Also on FileShack

  • Ok Mac mens... I need your 12" iBook reviews. I've gone through the search for a bit, but want more information. I am a graphic design student and work as web designer. I'd like to be able to do some work at school on my breaks, and my PC laptop is too old and slow now. Plus the iBooks are faster than my Quicksilver PowerMac. lol

Do you use it for: work, school, personal use?
How's the realistic battery life? Not the life that companies quote you.
    Ever dropped yours slightly?
I was playing around with one at Fry's and the 12" is so small. However, I don't know if $300 is worth the extra inch or two in size. But I really like the size of the laptop. Plus with the rumored announcement of new ibooks coming out this month, Fry's told me the current ones will get discounted, maybe more than the apple student discount.

The Uncyclopedia is essentially a parody of Wikipedia, a giant collection of deadpan sarcasm. For example, here's a portion of the George Washington entry:

Contrary to popular belief, George Washington was the first honest-to-god President of the United States of America. He even beat Thomas Jefferson to the punch, which is impressive, as Jefferson was a resourceful bitch.

In a recent study at MIT, Washington's corspe was unearthed and reduced to its base components in a high-speed centrifuge. After careful analysis, it was determined that the remains had a value of precisely one US Dollar. After the results of the study were made public, the United States Treasury put Washington's face on the one dollar bill. In keeping with this new policy, the Treasury will give the bearer of a one dollar bill George Washington's corpse upon request. This offer has yet to be redeemed.

It's like an epic version of John Stewart's America. And anyone can add to it!
