Hungry DS owners have been craving a new game and Nintendo has responded by giving them a Valentine's Day present: WarioWare Touched!, which is shipping today. This quirky game includes 180 "microgames" that makes extensive use of the DS' touch and dual screens, stylus, and even the microphone. This grammar looks weird. Subject-verb agreement and stuff.

"Occasionally, new characters appear that features of a mix of the microgames. Finally, when you conquer the game, giant cuddly teddy bears come onto the scene that features mixes that are dozens of microgames long."

So it's just rub, tab, blow and slice (god that sounds dirty)?

I was hoping for more Mario DS style mini-games. Stuff where your pulling back slingshots or directing various things with the stylus. those could fall under taping and slicing i guess, but they do require a little more thought.

Just to clarify, none of that?

This review makes me very sad.

If there is one game that could have shown the potential of the DS for innovation it was this game.

I was really waiting for this to buy a DS and get some friends to buy it too.

Nice write-up Alec. Only thing I'd add is to the minuses column. Before you can play a series of minigames the first time, you're forced to sit through a lengthy (LENGTHY!!) intro scene which you can't skip the first time around. The first one or two are cute, but after that they get old - fast.
