The screenshots just reminds me of a John Carmack quote: " other games start to feel more like puppet shows".
Yes, the AoE3s graphics look brilliant. They look almost like prerendered. They are shine and all cool stuff. But: They are flat and mat. You don't feel the world (IMO HL2 has the same problem). It's like looking at a cool picture with animated and moving objects. Unreal and Doom technology look and feel much better than the techs used in AoE3, HL2, FarCry and so on.

Sheez, while I have no problems conquering Europeans and what not. There is just something about blasting Native Americans that doesn't sit well with me. I'll probably give this game a go but always play as the Native Americans. Time to murder some evil colonists.

It seems like Colonization 3D. Or 'The Sims Visit The New World'.

Aren't we supposed to be taking lots of guys and killing lots of other guys with them?
