Age of Empires 3 Info

The game begins in 1500 A.D. and follows American history up through 1850. The game uses the Havocs physics engine and multiplayer will feature 8 civilizations. An official announcement by Ensemble Studios is expected soon.

So its going to be the spanish, portuguese, red indian, mayan and ? And basically most of those are similar, and the aztec/mayan were already done in AOE2.
And havok physics for little figures on the screen? A bit OTT dont you think.

The game is in 3d, look at the screenshots. I expect the havoc physics will be integrated just like it is in half life 2.
It's a 3d game people, now it's a 3d game with havoc physics.

GamesAreFun says that AoE3 goes from 1492 to the dawn of the 20th century, and--important now--there will be an Age of Empires IV picking up where AoE3 leaves off, will include both wars, and will end at the modern day.
I hope Patton is a unique unit. Time to finally play a WW2 RTS that doesn't suck. Hopefully I can combine tank flanking with air support.
