HomeLAN Fed's newest Games in 2004-2005 Q&A is with Tim Gerritsen of Human Head Studios, who probably gives some of the most extensive answers yet to the questions about the past and future gaming year. It looks like Human Head's currently unannounced project is scheduled for release next year.

"The fact that the average developer makes far less than the average sales or marketing person at most major publishers tells you where priorities are currently focused at most major publishers."

If you take the salary of the average game developer and then devide by number of hours an average game developers works to get the average pay per hour it starts get crazy. when you are working 80 hours a week and you do the math, it is messed up.

That's definitely true. I'm sure some of these guys are making $5 an hour or something crazy like that...especially when the ship date gets close, many developers work close to 100 hours a week. It's crazy.
