ATI Catalyst 4.12 Release

ATI has released the latest Catalyst driver for Radeon videocards, v4.12. According to the release notes this driver improves Half-Life 2 performance, and it also fixes issues with games like DOOM 3, Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic.

The beta 4.12 driver reported to have fixed the punkbuster hang problem ( http://www.ati.com/support/infobase/4701.html ).

Can't see any mention of this in these. Can anybody confirm if the fix remains?

these new drivers suck, i have a x800 pro ok and um.. 4.11's were great.. now every movie file i have on my hd plays but no video, just black screen.. wtf?
