Age of Empires 3 Announcement Soon

The Wait Is Almost Over is a new splash screen on the Ensemble Studios website, seemingly indicating that the new Age of Empires game will be announced soon. The game was first mentioned by a Polish publisher back in October, and it's also featured in the latest issue of Computer Gaming World.

shit I filled teh cup.
I've played AOE 2 to death using a couple billion strategies every time. So. Much. FUN!!! :<

  I loved AOE 2 with expansion pack too. Pitty Age of Mythology shunned swords and archery in favour of naked egyptians throwing rocks, and armies made from deer and giraffe.

    I agree ... AOM rocked! I really loved the AOE series, played it to death as well. Then came AOM and at first, I really preferred the sprites of AOE2... plus the first map I played was very small, so I hated it and uninstalled it. Good thing I re-installed AOM tho, I still play it alot.
    
    Can't wait to see this new one, what kind of engine they'll use...
