      Dude, it's a chicken egg scenario. Educators are partly at fault for experimenting with kids education at the expense of common sense. When my younger brother was in school they tried this shit they called "The Family" which was basically sticking a bunch of kids in a gymnasium size room. They were all different grades and in my brother's case different needs (hearing aids) students. Then they slapped a few teachers in the room and tried free form learning. WTF? The idea was that the older kids would help mentor the younger ones. Of course it just became a giant clique-fest clusterfuck and my brother's education suffered because of it.
