While it's cool to have jet fighters and helicopters, it really sucks ass to be killed by them time and time again. In fact, the air vehicles in Vietnam are nay invincible--they can withstand upwards of 3 heat seeking rocket hits. Not to mention they can just shower you with missles and chaingun fire before you can even get a shot off. Please Dice, oh please balance the vehicles a little better this time. Especially if certain maps are only going to give air vehicles to one team...
Secondly, bring back the medic class! WTF were you thinking with Vietnam's pseudo build-your-own class system? Some of those combinations are pretty worthless, and the lack of a medpack makes me cry :( Part of a good team game is a squad helping each other out--especially when the maps are so large. You have to be able to heal in between encounters to make it fun.
Other than those two items, BF 2 looks fucking awesome. Those destructible environments are going to add a lot to the strategy. Though I fear it's going to make it very hard for infantry to seek cover now... Maybe to counter that, the tanks at least should all require at least 2 people to work effectively--one driving and one manning the cannon. A third person could even be the machine gunner. I think that would not only make the game more realistic, but encourage teamwork and cut down on people being left behind when all the vehicles are gone.
But anyway, I digress. Get this badboy out so we can play it!
