Three more days till Doom..

SP2 installed..XP seems pretty much the same, except for all the added warnings! Actually, I dig the timed auto update installation. Windows keeping itself up to date while you sleep.

    it fucking was, don't install it over remote desktop, because when the firewall comes on automatically you can't get back in. Lame. That thing is getting the axe straight away.

      yeah remote desktop is blocked however remote assistance is not by default.

      You can configure an unattend.txt file with the SP installation to not enable the firewall. I thought you read that the firewall was enabled by default in SP2? ;)
      
      Granted, I just did the same thing - only I can still remote desktop in. However, I'm on the same subnet. I'm willing to bet that you're not (certain applications, I believe RDP is one of them - are still allowed within the subnet through the firewall).
