New Dawn of War Preview
There is a new Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War preview on PC.IGN this evening, offering single-player impressions. Relic's latest RTS game is due out next month.

replyThe cool thing about the size differences is that each unit will be able to see the difference and use appropriate attack animations. No more ankle biters here, you'll be seeing Space Marines aiming up at bigger units and bigger creatures using stomps instead of a basic punch attack or some such thing.
Actually, combat animations in general are a gigantic part of the fun. Each type of unit has tons of animations for various situations. For instance, along with the basic attack animation of a Space Marine in melee combat, they'll also have several finish move animations when taking down an enemy. One such move showed a marine skewer an Ork and then push it off of the blade with a shoe.
