I was browsing another forum and came across this guy who was commenting on the Decisive Battles show, that features Rome.

"The game graphics looked ok. I honestly didnt see much difference from what I remember of Shogun and Medieval Total War. "

I can't wait to see the 3D campaign map in action. Apparently it actually affects the gameplay instead of merely providing more eye-candy. Of course, I'm a bit afraid of change since the old system is so elegant and engaging.

Oh, and I guess the battles will be cool too. :)
