Late Night Consoling

Hello there, Shackers! As you can see right above this, I am Alec Matias and I'm the sole-survivor of Steve and Jason's grueling interview process. It was weeks in the making, but I'm here tonight and I could not be happier. As you will quickly realize, I have been a Shacker for about five years now (posting for two) and I consider this my home on the Internet, so I'm incredibly thrilled to be a bigger part of it. Thus far, Steve, Jason and Maarten have been extremely helpful in getting me caught up to speed (you guys wouldn't believe how long of an email Jason sent me!) and while you may notice a few growing pains this week and next, I'm definitely in good hands and will catch on very quickly. So how about we get this party started, huh? Here we go with my first post!

DS Ocarina of Time and Mario 128 on the DS? In an interview with GameSpy, Nintendo product designers Shigeru Miyamoto and Kenichi Sugino drop details on some possible titles for the upcoming Nintendo DS portable. Sugino confides that if Nintendo were to attempt porting over Ocarina of Time on the DS, that they "...could do that very easily." In regards to which system Mario 128 will end up on, Miyamoto answers, "It may end up on DS. You have seen Mario 64 x 4 here, but there is another Mario game that we are working on for the DS that is best suited for that system. I think that will be the next Mario game to come out."
PS2 Xbox Gamer Jailed For Bomb Threat A Florida gamer is currently being held on charges for reporting a false bomb threat, according to 1up. The man being charged, Anthony Jones, 27, was at a friend's house watching him play Grand Theft Auto: Vice City while at the time on the phone with a co-worker who was working at a local restaurant. At some moment, Jones screams, "There's a bomb in the building. There's a bomb in the building. Everyone needs to get out!" The person on the line didn't take this lightly and the restaurant was evacuated and all patrons searched. Police are taking the situation seriously and are holding the man with bail posted at $5,003. If convicted, he could serve up to 15 years in prison.

PS2 Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 Leaked Details GamePro tonight claims to have seen leaked videos of DBZ: Budokai 3, offering new details on the latest follow-up to the fighting series.
