I guess the graphics are on par with 1942, although the mountains do look like shit.

The singleplayer experience better be good.

I am anticipating this game as much as anyone, but I think it missed its edge due to the Microsoft hijack--that is, as we're just now going to get this game for its original platform (PC) games like BF 1942 have come along to take away things like operable vehicles or teammates operating different aspects of the same vehicle, not to mention flying. These are elements that I, for one, had been looking forward to, among others. I'll probably still get it, though.
