I wasn't too impressed by either demo, but on recieving it as a gift from the missus I kinda had no choice but to give it a go (either that or sleep on the couch!) and was actually quite surprised.... the final retail game is actually okay, much better than Unreal 2 and Devastation, of course no way is this going to live upto HL2 or D3 expectations but fun while it lasted (about 7-8hrs)

Some of Chaser's sound effects and voiceovers still need quite a bit of work at this point, judging by the beta we played, and clipping problems need fixing too -- we once fell through a space station's wall to our death, for example.

This game is due to be released in Q3; in my years of gaming, I've never seen "a bit of work" performed on sound, voiceovers, and physics code in three months after a demo has been released. I played both demos, and didn't like them; I decided to move on.
