Breed Demo
by Maarten Goldstein, May 23, 2003 8:36am PDTAfter many delays, the Breed demo is finally here. The demo is a 142mb download, and it's not exactly clear what's included, though it is singleplayer only. Thanks BreedFiles. It's recommended that you have a 1.5Ghz machine, 256mb of RAM and a 64mb Direct3D compatible videocard that supports hardware T&L to play the game.

First of all, why release this demo? It doesn't seem finished at all.
- View wobbles like you're drunk when you run. Yay for realism. I should punch myself in the stomach so I'm out of breath too, for that extra realism factor.
- The weapons are XBOX HUGE but they feel like you're firing a pea shooter.
- Whats up with the sniper interface? Whats wrong with using the fricken mouse wheel to zoom?
- Why doesn't the mouse work in the menus?
- Can't they afford to hire someone who at actually has a deep, gruff voice instead of someone who's just collecting enough phelgm in his throat to sound like it?
