Also on IGN is this article offering impressions of Secret Weapons, the second Battlefield 1942 expansion pack. Sounds like the jetpack is thankfully pretty limited.

  If they fuck up the vanilla 42 engineer like that queerdo hunk of shit in DC with that fucking shotgun I'm going to cry huge massive rivers. All I want out of BF1942 is my wrench, my detpacks, and my RIFLE in one handy package. That's all I want. Everyone else can have the toys, I just want my stuff >:(
