Should I pre-order this one? Free two-day shipping is tempting, but I'm sure Best Buy or somewhere will have it on sale about a week after it's released. Hmmmm...

this game rox my sox off

i bought it for xbox as soon as i was done with finals...
havnt been a big fan of stealth games in the past, like MGS series. But this is just too damn cool. The lighting... and the little news clips between missions (which appear highly realistic, even tho its not pre-rendered, which i usually hate it when games just use cut scenes from the game for story... ala max payne.) Fun game... makes me wonder if this is what DOOM lighting is like?

- lighting in splinter cell is not unified - shadows are only rendered for certain lights and in small area... : FoX3D

that explains why in some cases it stands out much more than others... so basically doom3 will = those special cases non stop and better... joygasm
