Intel Releases Pentium 4 3.06Ghz

The new Pentium 4 also brings us Hyper-Threading, and if you check the benchmarks, it gives a nice performance boost.

A processor running, say, 30GHz, seems far away, but thinking back it really wasn't long ago we were all sitting on 300MHz machines. That was like what, four years ago?
