Sigh. It used to be fun to blast Romero when he was always talking out of his ass about Daikatanna, but now that he's humbled and sincere, and frank about what a flop the game was, the party's over. We'll just have to move on.

Who's the next Great Pretender? Could it be you, CliffyB? ;-)

For all the s**t people say about Romero (including me) I did think the levels he did for Doom (first episode, I believe but correct me if I'm wrong) were great.

That shareware episode of Doom had more impact on me than probably any other gaming experience in my life.

I know, since Romero made a bad game once, let's all pick apart everything he says, and bash him at every oppurtunity we get. Everyone knows he has contributed absolutely nothing to the gaming community (he watched Carmack ((who is GOD)) make Doom and Quake and took all the credit for himself), he's constantly trying to draw attention to himself, plus he's a real jerk in person. To top it all off he has a girlfriend with fake boobs. God I really hate this guy. I live for reading something about him so I can bash him some more, I really really hate him. That bastard.
