In anticipiation of the upcoming Tribes 2 re-release on October 4, Sierra has released a new update for current Tribes 2 owners to upgrade their game. Many changes have been made to the game, and some user created mods have been added as well. Thanks Blues News.

Piece of sh!t, I have tried EVERY option for 2 years to get this to even patch.
every option meaning, first aid, yaysdyada, I will now officialy take the CD out back and see how far it flys. NEVER again will I install any Tribes anything. I actually PAID to have constant headaches every times I tried to patch it OR play it.

No other game has EVER givin me this kind of problem, good fucking ridence
(BTW i cant spell when I'm mad)

This is the patch to end all patches. Tribes 2 will be bug free and have perfect gameplay balance between action and teamwork.

I can't believe I'm going to actually install this patch and try out T2 again. I loved the first one and played the sequal for a while but got sick of he bugs. hopefully they have finally ironed them all out.

Lame, one of the most reliable ways to stop a
lame flyer flag runners, IE they jump out of the jet and
fly over the flag then boost towards their base.
You can tell who was asking for changes on the forums
with this patch.

Tribes 2 is one of the best multiplayer games ive ever played, i love it. But even i can admit that the game is getting quite old now.

It seems its quite past due for a final patch or whatever, but im still eager to check out the linux version as soon as its released.
