CNet is reporting on the Intel price cuts which happened this past weekend after the introduction of the Pentium 4 2.8Ghz earlier last week. Some P4 CPUs got a hell of a lot cheaper, like the $400 2.4Ghz going for $193 now.

Intel is in trouble, the only people that need to upgrade is us gammers. Microsoft office has run just as well on a p2 400 as it does on a p4 3000.
