Intel Price Cuts

CNet is reporting on the Intel price cuts which happened this past weekend after the introduction of the Pentium 4 2.8Ghz earlier last week. Some P4 CPUs got a hell of a lot cheaper, like the $400 2.4Ghz going for $193 now.

Thats a serious cut, I think my next computer purchase in January might have to be a Pentium.

  Yea that is a BIG cut. I've been using AMD since their first Athlon line... cuz they were fast and cheap, but with AMD lagging right now and that big cut (you know there are more coming towards xmas)...I dunno which way to go.
