Well here we are...the start of the first week with the new Azel design. There were some problems on Friday when I went live with the new look, but I seem to have figured out how to get it all to work (for the time being anyway). I'm still tweaking things of course (you might notice that the icons are slightly smaller tonight than they were on Friday) so if you have any further suggestions, please post 'em here.

New shots from Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden are up at XenGamers, while GameSpot has new shots from Super Monkey Ball 2 and The Magic Box has some blurry new shots from Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution.

Sony will be releasing new memory cards and controllers in fruity colors in Japan this week, along with a new "D-Terminal" cable for connecting to HDTVs (and possibly PC monitors -- I'm not 100% sure of that though). Images of the new peripherals can be found at GameForms.

Team Xbox has a new interview online with developers from Starbreeze Studios, talking about their upcoming Xbox title Enclave.

Console Game of the Evening (kicking off Crossover Classics Week): Space Fantasy Zone for the PC Engine Super-CD. Never released (although copies floated around and some reviews have appeared online) this game used the perspective of Space Harrier but with good ol' Opa-Opa as the main character (possibly answering once and for all if the "Fantasy Zone" from Space Harrier is the same one from well...Fantasy Zone).
