Just got the latest Star Wars Galaxies news letter which has some news about the beta of the game. The first beta test of this highly anticipated Star Wars MMORPG will start July 15, though it will only be for a handful of community members. After that the beta will be expanding though, and people can sign up now to be considered.

Read a couple of posts about the server being b0rked.

It's about ten minutes until 7pm here on the east coast.

I just successfully completed the reg process there.

Got the following message:

Thank you for submitting your registration for the StarWars: Galaxies beta. You will be contacted via email with more information soon.

Here you can see a simulation of what the first day of starwars galaxies user registration will be like. Nope, I don't think i'll sign up for this, and wont buy the game. Have fun whoever actually gets into this, beta is always much better than release with MMORPGs.
