So seeing as how Maarten is being tied up with Fileshack development, ShackReviews improvements are on hold. One of the top requested things however has been to prioritize the better rated reviews to show up first when you visit a particular game category. Well we didnt have user voting on reviews in the early going, but I figured what the heck we'll at least highlight some of the best rated reviews we've had over the past couple months that many of you may have missed:

There are a number of reviews not on that list simply because they didnt get enough votes. If you're browsing through the reviews and read a review you think is good, make sure to click that "YES" button!

Cool, one of mine is up there. ;) I think you guys at ShackNews should do a post like this each month, it's really fun reading the best reviews for any game, even for a console I don't have. Always a pleasure reading quality writing.

Thanks for the reviews feautre in general too guys, it's really cool. You get more opinions and they tend to be less jaded than a lot of proffesional reviwers and often of a comparable quality surprisingly enough.

Hey Steve... this may be kind of a long shot, but how about a movie review system? After all the Shackreview and Fileshack work/upgrades have been finished, of course. The Shackreviews system is great. We can read a review and gauge it through the reviewer, and doing those for movies would be kinda cool, too. I hope I'm not the only one who would want to see this? Only problem is the amount of work involved... would you have to bring in another person?

it would be cool if there were more sorting and search options. like a way to find *.unreviewed games, total number of games listed (by platform), alphabetical jump to all games starting with G, etc.
