For any fans of this game, I recommend trying out the coop single player patch. It's hefty (150mb+) to download, but the game is much more fun going through the levels with three buddies.

Blade of Darkness was far better than this, imo. I own the full of both, and I really liked
Rune for like a week but the single player in it is week as fuck and the multiplayer gets
old fast imo -- although I will admit, the mp in it mopped the floor with BoD's. But BoD's
sp campaign was truly epic and awesome.

I endorse picking up the original, since you wont have too much fun with multiplayer in this game unless you're playing on a LAN.
