XBox Euro Date

MS has announced the launch date in Europe for the XBox. They are shooting for March 14th of 2002. According to the article the console actually launched here in the US yesterday, damn it why wasnt I informed! The machine will be selling for Â£299 ($433) over there which is getting hefty for a traditional console. I guess XBox isnt exactly traditional though is it. Oh plus they coined the hip new phrase! Siliwood!

David Gardner, head of Electronic Arts, one of the world's largest software companies, said the X-box would "allow Silicon Valley to meet Hollywood - Siliwood".
