Romero's New Game?

1
A post to Fatbabies' forums seems to have the scoop on John Romero's first game from Monkeystone, his brand new company (thanks Chris Johnson). If this information is correct (and the fact that there are links to images on Romero's official site would seem to suggest that) their first title will be "Hyperspace Delivery Boy," an action/puzzle game for the Pocket PC. No source is actually given, but the post does contain this description, which is said to be from Romero himself:

Monkeystone Games is creating a fun action/puzzle game called Hyperspace Delivery Boy (starring Guy Carrington! :) -- the title kinda gives you an idea of the breadth the game will have. You start out on a postal space ship and your boss teaches you how to do your first job (sorting mail) and so on until you learn the rudiments of playing the game. Then, the ship lands on a planet (after travelling through hyperspace!) and the environment changes from a Star-Wars-ish ship to some kind of rugged alien terrain or city or whatnot depending on where you are in the game. When you finish the entire set of levels on the planet, you get back in the ship and come back to home base to pick up more mail and start a new episode, of which there will be four. Each episode's planet graphics change because you're in a different location delivering mail. The game is really going to feel like Zelda III on the SNES, but with more puzzles...
