OMG Via made a fast chipset!!!!
As much as a bag on via (and i believe rightfully so) I tip my hat to them. Competition actually made them make a faster board. The 1st KT266 was a complete joke to DDR and was simply just a paper spec. Looks like with SiS735 and KT266A (and hopefully future nforce boards) DDR actually gives you a decent improvement over PC133.

Prolly what VIA had to do in order to make the AMD Palomino desktop processors work.

That's quite the increase in speed though... after around 500 4in1 drivers it could even be stable.

that's funny how anand left out the higher resolution tests for q3a. the kt266a shows very little performance increase.

- that's because higher resolutions are fill-rate limited. The video card determines framerate then. : Alkaline
